Ranthambore is divided into 10 safari zones managed by the Rajasthan Forest Department. Zones 1–5 form the core area; zones 6–10 are buffer zones with growing tiger populations and lower vehicle pressure.

You cannot select a zone when booking. The system assigns based on availability. Book multiple safaris — with 3–4 bookings, most visitors receive at least one core zone assignment.
