Male Tiger Marks Territory On Khilchipur Trail, Zone 5

A dominant male tiger was observed scent-marking along the Khilchipur trail in Zone 5 during the late-afternoon safari — territorial behaviour typical of the park's quieter deep-forest zones.

Zone 5 enters through Khilchipur gate and sees significantly fewer vehicles than zones 1–3. Male tigers frequently patrol forest trails here, and the reduced traffic allows longer stops at sightings. The zone is favoured by photographers and naturalists who prefer intimate encounters over the convoy atmosphere of peak-season core zones.
