Tigress With Cubs Confirmed Near Rajbagh, Zone 6

Forest teams have confirmed a tigress with cubs near Rajbagh lake in Zone 6 (Kundal), one of Ranthambore's buffer territories that has seen steadily rising tiger activity over the past several seasons.

Zone 6 enters through the Kundal area and offers a quieter alternative to the busier core zones 1–3. The reserve's latest population assessment records 77 tigers across 10 zones — 23 tigresses, 25 adult males, and 29 cubs — and cub sightings in the buffer are a direct indicator of adequate prey density and territorial stability.
