Caracal Tracks Found Near Zone 10

Fresh caracal (Caracal caracal) pugmarks and scat were documented near Zone 10 (Aantri) — the park's most remote buffer zone bordering Keladevi Sanctuary.

Caracal are among Ranthambore's rarest felids. Direct sightings are exceptional; track evidence in Zone 10's scrub and grassland mosaic suggests continued presence. This zone demands patience — the longest drives with the fewest vehicles in the entire reserve.
