Zone 2 — Raj Bagh & Malik Talab Safari Guide

Zone 2 passes through Raj Bagh ruins and Malik Talab via the Lahpur gate — currently centred on Riddhi's (T-124) lake territories.

Terrain and wildlife

Mix of wetland, open grassland, and ruined hunting palaces. Among the highest tiger-sighting probabilities in the park. Excellent for painted storks, spoonbills, and kingfishers at Malik Talab. Dawn drives through Raj Bagh ruins are especially atmospheric.

• Closed: Every Wednesday
• Best for: Tiger probability, wetland birding
• Notable tigers: Riddhi (T-124), Siddhi (T-125)

Riddhi was recently sighted with cubs in the Nal Ghati section of this zone — her third recorded litter, continuing the Machli dynasty.
