Every safari participant — Indian and foreign — must present original government-issued photo ID at the boarding point. Mismatches between booking name and ID are the most common cause of denied entry.
Accepted documents
Indian nationals
- Aadhaar card
- Passport
- Voter ID (EPIC)
- Driving licence
- Any other government photo ID
Foreign nationals
- Passport (mandatory) — upload copy during online booking
- Visa details may be required depending on current forest department policy
Critical rules
- The name on your booking must exactly match your ID
- Carry original documents — photocopies are not accepted at the gate
- All 6 gypsy passengers must present individual IDs
- Children also require ID (birth certificate or Aadhaar)
Arrive at the boarding point 15 minutes before your safari slot. Late arrival forfeits the permit without refund.
