ID Requirements For Indian And Foreign Visitors

Every safari participant — Indian and foreign — must present original government-issued photo ID at the boarding point. Mismatches between booking name and ID are the most common cause of denied entry.

Accepted documents

Indian nationals

  • Aadhaar card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID (EPIC)
  • Driving licence
  • Any other government photo ID

Foreign nationals

  • Passport (mandatory) — upload copy during online booking
  • Visa details may be required depending on current forest department policy

Critical rules

  1. The name on your booking must exactly match your ID
  2. Carry original documents — photocopies are not accepted at the gate
  3. All 6 gypsy passengers must present individual IDs
  4. Children also require ID (birth certificate or Aadhaar)

Arrive at the boarding point 15 minutes before your safari slot. Late arrival forfeits the permit without refund.
